Roger Pollock completed his studies at Pretoria Technicon (which is now known as Tshwane University of Technology) in 1991. He relocates to Bloemfontein during his studies and completes his required internship to register with the Medical and Dental Council at the National Hospital Orthotic and Prosthetic facility. During his National Services he works as an Orthotist Prosthetist at the 2 Military Hospital Orthotic and Prosthetic Centre in Wynberg Cape Town. Here he serves the military community in his professional capacity.
In 1999 he joins forces with Willem Steenkamp and Steenkamp and Pollock Orthotics and Prosthetics comes to be.
He is a member the South African Orthotic and Prosthetic Association, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as well as being a member of the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics. He attends annual Congresses regularly and is also actively involved in the local courses and presentations, to stay up to date with the latest developments in allied professions.
